Electrical components by OKE

Energized!

When designing, it goes without saying that we take interlocking and adhesion forces into account. We support and advise our customers with regard to surface quality, the type and design of form-fit connections, and the plastic material used.

Our range is extensive – and what we can’t do today, we will soon be able to. Because we stay at the forefront of innovation!

Our products

International and creative

Our highly qualified team supplies a constantly growing market with precision electronics manufacturing. Whether Made in Germany or produced at our international locations, we are not restricted to one industry and supply a wide range of products. Here is just a small selection – you can read more about the combination of inserts and plastic on the page on metal-plastic hybrid processes.

Safety-critical high-voltage components require special safety measures to ensure component quality and avoid the specific dangers associated with high voltage.

For high-voltage systems, we produce components such as connectors with additional latching functions as safety elements, either built-to-print or with or with our design support according to customer drawings with extremely tight tolerances. Our experience in processing high-performance plastics always guarantees efficient series production.

Our components made of non-conductive material can also be additionally protected against electromagnetic interference. We take care of the entire process, including treatment with copper conductive paint or aluminum vapor deposition as a conductive coating. We can also apply an additional EMC seal between individual housing parts to achieve even stronger shielding. Masks or tape are also possible as a partial variant. We also carry out optimizations and pre-compliance measurements in our in-house EMC laboratory.

We are happy to advise and support you on EMC coatings in sandwich constructions, also in combination with sheet metal.

We even implement small assemblies like this directly in the mold. We synchronize multi-automation with injection molding in downstream processes. With our own special-purpose machine engineering, we develop and test customized production processes from simple removal handling to multi-stage assemblies.

We manufacture displays, covers, and housings made of PMMA or PC with a high surface quality. We often add laser markings, lettering, or patterns to the clear parts afterwards. Additionally, we offer other surface treatments such as digital printing, screen printing, pad printing, embossing, varnishing, and much more.

For the design, toolmaking, and production of housings, you are in the right place with us. We integrate customer-specific components such as membrane keypads, touch displays, lighting, coatings, optical bonding, contacts, and rivets, mostly fully automatically with subsequent functional testing. From our modular system of individual solutions, we always find the best manufacturing technologies.

We also produce simpler electrical components with and without inserts for a wide range of applications. The weight of the smallest products is only a few tenths of a gram. Our dummy plugs can be found in almost every circuit board!

Compliance with electromagnetic compatibility

The degree of digitalization is still increasing in all areas of life, which means that electromagnetic interference can occur more frequently. This interferes with devices and can even lead to system failure. Electromagnetic compatibility, or EMC for short, is therefore becoming increasingly important.

The electrical conductivity of the metal in combination with the excellent insulating properties of the plastic gives us great scope for further developments and completely new applications. We can also integrate fibers and coatings into our processes. This means that EMC housing components made of plastics or fiber composites, with coatings or in sandwich constructions, are possible with our technologies.

Compliance with basic EMC requirements became mandatory with EU Directive 2014/30/EU. For manufacturers, successful EMC testing in accordance with this directive is also a key quality feature of their products, as it prevents product or system failures caused by electromagnetic interference.

Alhorn is our specialist for products with EMC requirements. Find out more on our homepage or write to us directly using the contact form on this page and one of our specialists will get back to you.
