For medical plastic molded parts, we use robust engineering plastics to meet the high demands of quality, hygiene, resilience, and appearance. For example, casings and covers must also be able to withstand the radiation exposure from MRI and X-ray machines, as well as contact with disinfectants and medications.
In addition, we have many technological possibilities for the integration of functional elements from other plastic components and metal. This can be done fully automatically and 100 percent camera-inspected.
Our products can be found in a wide variety of applications with high requirements in the medical field. One example is housing covers for syringe pumps that dose high-precision infusions for intravenous, epidural, parenteral, and enteral applications. The housings of these devices must reliably protect the sensitive electronics, be easy to operate through the integration of controls, contacts, and connectors, and withstand the cleaning procedures and disinfectants required for clinical cleanliness. Many of these devices have been used on a daily basis for decades.
Our disposable items, such as single-use syringes, are produced from a high-purity granulate approved for medical use. The individual components (cylinder, piston, sealing ring) are assembled, packaged, and sterilized in high-speed assembly machines.
Housing covers for a syringe pump: The carrier plate is given a high-gloss surface, various contacts, rivets, and hinges.
Triple Port Dispenser for the supply of media to a bioreactor: The size offers the advantages of small working volumes while maintaining the full functionality of industrial bioreactors.
We can do that too: Toolmaking and pilot series for a microtiter plate. We have implemented the processing of polystyrene with complex demolding in accordance with the American ANSI standard.
Patients with severe head and spinal injuries are transported on a carbon-reinforced spine board. It is lightweight, stable, buoyant, and, thanks to the metal-free material combination, also suitable for X-rays and MRIs.
