Following the local for local principle, we at OKE in Portugal manufacture plastic profiles and injection molded components for our customers in Southern Europe and North Africa. Our range includes products for vehicle interiors and large components such as underbody and door panels for the exterior. Short and reliable delivery routes are essential for these large components in particular. Basic and technological developments are usually created in close cooperation with our headquarters in Germany and are further developed together with us. We also offer perfect conditions for nearshoring together with the international locations of the OKE Group.
We have been extruding technically sophisticated, high-quality plastic profiles for the automotive industry in Portugal since 2000. We process thermoplastics such as PP, PE, PP-TPE, ABS, PVC and engineering plastics such as PA and PET. Our customers particularly appreciate the inline finishing of our extrusion profiles. The result is absolutely precise and offers maximum cost-effectiveness and tolerance accuracy!
As an OKE Group company, we offer our customers a comprehensive range of injection molding services from a single source! We specialise in a wide range of injection moulding requirements and, if desired, can accompany or manage the entire development process through to series production.
With hollow chamber, pipe, and foam extrusion, as well as the combination of plastics, textile materials, and films, we implement customized solutions even for complex technical requirements.
From the entire range of injection moulding and tool technologies, we select the technologies that make sense for the efficient production of customer-specific components and assemblies. Large components are a specialty at our site in Abrantes.
To optimize component weight, strength, rigidity, functionality or costs, we combine plastics with metallic materials and fibres in a targeted manner. Upstream processes such as metal stamping and pultrusion are carried out directly by us.
In our special machine construction department, we develop separating and joining processes, laser printing using color change and ablation as a continuous follow-up process.
Our systems for cutting to length, component assembly, marking and testing are partially to fully automated. Modular and decentralized production still leaves enough room for component changes, additions and modifications.
We deliver quality in all processes and in every end product. Sophisticated quality management and testing by independent institutions ensure consistently reliable results.
