Quality Management

We take a closer look!

By combining comprehensive and customer-specific quality methods and tools with a structured, precise way of working, we optimize our process control and risk management to ensure continuous quality control and quality improvement. We also keep an eye on the satisfaction of all our customers, the qualification of our employees and the quality of our suppliers worldwide.

Data-supported quality management

Our computer-aided quality assurance (CAQ) is an integral part of our quality management processes. We use an extensive range of modules, from quality planning (APQP, FMEA, EMPB, PPAP) to quality assurance (WEP, SPC, WAP) and quality management (audit, 8d, PMV).

The inspection data is recorded seamlessly in all modules, ensuring perfect traceability at all times.

Error prevention before error detection: This preventative approach to controlling our production processes is carried out using static methods and evaluation procedures (SPC).

We also achieve consistent, data-driven monitoring, control and improvement of our processes by linking them to the ERP system and recording machine data (MDE).

Our quality management cannot be reduced to the use of a series of tools! Rather, data-based measures are only part of a work philosophy that enables us to achieve a high level of quality and efficiency.

Transparent and reliable

Certificates

Transparency is important to us. We use our CAQ software at all stages of quality planning, quality assurance and quality management to document error-free processes and products. In addition to general checks, we also carry out customer and component-specific tests: Fully automated via the documentation of process parameters, with coordinate measuring machines or optical scanners, as a 100% inspection using AI-supported camera systems through to looking inside using computer tomography. When the components are x-rayed, defects that are not visible on the outside are detected and internal structures are precisely measured.

External, independent institutes confirm the reliability of our work. Current certificates are available for download.

Our laboratory

Our laboratory specializes in damage analysis, process optimization, incoming goods inspection and quality control of finished components during production. Our analysis techniques include, for example

determination of the viscosity index in accordance with ISO 1628/5 and ISO 307
residual moisture analysis using Aquatrac
FTIR spectroscopy according to the ATR method
Differential scanning calorimetry according to ISO 11357-1/-2/-3
Fiber analysis of long-fiber reinforced thermoplastics
… as well as customized analyses!

Quality checks

In order to guarantee consistently high quality, we also carry out the following tests at each of our locations, for example:

  • Tensile tests, bond strength, bending strength
  • Burning rate CC
  • annealing residue
  • Shore D / M-Shore D hardness
  • Moisture content
  • Melt flow rate
  • Aging
  • Density
  • Determination of customized product characteristics
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • 3D measurement (optical, with touch sensor and scanner)
  • Surface and contour measurement
  • Tensile-compression tests
  • Stability tests
  • Burst pressure testing
  • Leak test (helium)
  • … and much more depending on the customers’ requirements!
