Success from the beginning
OKE is a forward-looking company. Over the recent years in particular there have been many changes.
We have grown steadily, new technologies were implemented and we have gained many new employees. But we also have a tradition, because we have been around since 1961!
THE MILESTONES OF THE OKE GROUP FROM 1961 TO TODAY
Rainer von der Heyde founds a company under the name of OKE (Osnabrücker Kunststoff-Erzeugnisse), which distributes plastic products for the furniture industry which they would manufacture themselves at a later stage.
Entry year of Thomas Tillner.
With the patent application of the OKE TieDown, OKE becomes a supplier to the automotive industry.
In addition to the extrusion for the production of plastic profiles, the injection molding technology finds its way into production.
The production site OKE South Africa is opened in Cape Town.
The production site OKE Tillner Perfis Portugal opens in Abrantes.
Relocation of the headquarters of Lotte (near Osnabrück) to Hörstel.
OKE launches OKE Kinderhilfe. Projects are funded in Sri Lanka, India and South Africa.
The production site OKE Plastic China is opened in Zhangjiagang, meanwhile in a new completely refurbished new building.
The production site OKE Plastic SK, s.r.o. opens in Trebatice.
The production site OKE do Brasil is opened in Curitiba.
The company KKF Fels from Goslar is integrated into the OKE Group. At the beginning of 2013, KKF moved into another building in Goslar, which after extensive refurbishment offers more space for the entire injection molding area.
The OKE Group celebrates its 50th anniversary!
With the acquisition of Döring Werkzeugbau (later OKE Werkzeugtechnik) we have expanded our possibilities in toolmaking. In order to further exploit the potential, a new company headquarters was built in Tornesch.
The company Alhorn in Lübbecke was taken over by the OKE Group. With an additional new building in Lübbecke and another branch in Hörstel, Alhorn is expanding faster than any other company within the OKE Group.
At our second site in Goslar, completely refurbished and converted for pultrusion, profiles have been created since 2016 using our own patented manufacturing process.
At the beginning of 2017, the OKE Group acquired Trimatec from Nordwalde.
At the end of 2017, the OKE Group acquired the second company within one year. Schultz Schlafkultur from Osnabrück is now part of the corporate group.
The Wilhelm Schröder GmbH was taken over by the OKE Group. This will further extend our strengths in hybrid technology.
