Global Enterprises opened its doors in 1996, but our roots in automotive interiors go back nearly half a century:

In 1970, John Kunz—the founder of Global Enterprises—pioneered the development of plastic seat mounts for customers such as American Motors and Ford Motor Company. As seating trends changed, so did his seat mounts. Today, his innovation and forward thinking continue to drive Global Enterprises to develop state-of-the-art mounts that meet more complex seating requirements. Our continued commitment to our customers and their needs keeps us at the forefront of innovation and technology in the industry. We focus on finding new ways to improve our manufacturing processes to reduce costs and pass the savings on to our customers.

In addition to constantly refining our processes, our top priority is to open state-of-the-art production facilities that are easier and more convenient for our customers to access. In 2012, we opened a brand new production facility in Ploiesti, Romania. The facility specializes in extrusion production and is strategically located to serve our customers in Europe.

In 2024, we became part of the OKE Group, which is a perfect fit for our two companies.
