Assembly technology

From the idea to practical implementation

As a specialist in industrial assembly technology, we develop and manufacture machines that enable precise, reliable and economical connections. Our portfolio includes a wide range of proven processes, including thermal riveting, screwing, ultrasonic welding, gluing, punching, press-fitting and pressing. Automated processes such as gripping and positioning components are also an integral part of our solutions.

Whether a single station or a complex assembly line – we supply customized technology for your application. With our expertise in process integration and a clear focus on quality and efficiency, we support you in future-proofing your production.

Thermal rivets

In thermal or hot riveting, thermoplastics are heated and riveted at individual points. One of the components is made of plastic, the other can be made of any material and is initially placed loosely on the plastic part. The rivet tip is heated to the required temperature and then reshapes the plastic rivet. After cooling, this creates a form-fit connection.

Screwing

We also implement fully automated screw connections for components such as interior panels, dashboard supports, brackets and covers.

Ultrasonic welding

Thermoplastics are welded together under pressure using high-frequency mechanical vibrations. Fast, clean and fully automatic.

Bonding

A robot arm automatically applies adhesives to the plastic parts, joins them precisely and ensures even curing. The advantages are obvious: uniform adhesive distribution, reproducible quality and efficient series production!

Assembly process

Individual parts are tipped and separated in a stand-alone system. Automated assembly takes place via a feeder: The base body is laser-welded to a cover, and an O-ring and a bushing are integrated.

In addition to stand-alone systems, complete assembly lines are also possible.

Pressing in / grouting

Powerful insertion of components such as bolts, bushes, bearings and threaded inserts are achieved by a pressing process with a defined press-in force, often for connections between metal and metal, metal and plastic or even between two plastic parts.

Stamping

With our systems, profiles can be produced and delivered ready for installation inline and offline. This is because our cutting and punching units have a modular design. Different length measuring systems round off the flexible, compact system.

Gripping

We bring together what belongs together. With feeding, conveying and gripping technologies such as SGM grippers, bin picking, robot grippers and many other handling processes.
